WTRM makes free event and activity announcements for non-profit organizations. We evaluate each announcement based on content and whether it matches the goals and mission of this ministry. Announcements are broadcast at numerous times throughout the day and are updated each Sunday.
The following are guidelines and requirements for taking advantage of this service provided by Southern Light Radio.

Event information should be typed or neatly printed and submitted at least three weeks prior to the event. Flyers, postcards and brochures will not be accepted. Event information should contain the following:

List all pertinent information, including, dates, times, locations, etc.

A physical address of the event, if available. If not, directions are ok.

Be sure to include the area code with a phone number where listeners can obtain more information about your activity.

WTRM covers parts of four states, so we need to know not only which community the activity occurs in, but also the state, as well. Don’t assume that we know what locally used abbreviations stand for, but always spell out names, places, and organizations. Also, please include phonetic spellings for any unusual names. The fact that you are familiar with the name doesn’t assure that we are, as well.
